Key Objectives of the Role:
- Maintain, develop and ensure maximum exposure for SEI within the HSBC account to ensure SEI is fulfilling client needs as effectively as possible whilst also generating new revenue in terms of assets under management for SEI.
- To contribute to the development of SEI on a strategic level in terms of development of relationships, solutions and process both internally and externally that relate to revenue generation within this key account.
- Contribute to the creation of the global strategy while owning and executing the Strategy for HSBC Americas and other global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationship with sales forces at both sales management and field level
- Determining account strategies for the Americas.
- Clearly and effectively present SEI solution to variety of audiences.
- Support the senior business development executives in identification of new prospects and clients.
- Attend networking and industry events (internal and external) in the pursuit of keeping up to date with market developments and developing networks within key clients. Sometimes this may involve representing SEI by presenting at these events.
- Liaise with other business units internally (product development, marketing, communications and relationship managers, etc) to ensure client needs are met and to contribute to developing solutions and products that will ensure SEI remain leading edge.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements to the relationships.
- Maintain working knowledge of market unit solutions and capabilities.
- Interpret the current investment environment and assess the impact that has had / will have on the SEI solution and the client.
- Train SEI clients on the full suite of our solutions.
- Create, manage and execute a sales plan.
- Any other ad-hoc duties/projects as required.
Essential Competencies/Personal Capabilities:

- Willingness to input to strategy as well as undertake more mundane tasks if required.

Essential Experience/Technical Capabilities:
- Strong investment background – ideally CFA qualified.
- Fluent Spanish speaking.
- Proven track record developing and managing key accounts within a financial services environment. Asset Management experience would be preferred.
- Proven executive relationship management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to close a deal within a consultative sales process.
- Strong technical knowledge in relation to understanding the issues advisors may be facing in their business and how SEI can help alleviate those.
- The ability to interpret the current investment environment and the impact that has had / will have on the SEI solution.
- Strong presentation capabilities.
